Pienza Marketplace in National Harbor

Had breakfast there yesterday.... seriously overpriced not to taste good. Small selection, bland, not worth it.

I only ate here for the breakfast, but it was worth it. The buffet changed a little every day, but there was quality there. There was enough variety there to keep the kids and adults happy. The staff was pleasant, and they were on the ball when you needed something. This is the best buy when it comes to breakfast at the hotel. The other breakfasts at the hotel were just as expensive and definitely not as tasty. This place was a bargain, comparatively speaking.

It was awful..they ran out of EVERYTHING except chicken tenders and french fries. No desserts. $150 for chicken and french fries.

Very limited choices and the egg was horrible, and very expensive according to quality and choices.. don't recommended at all..

$25 for lunch buffet (very small selection)I enjoyed the salmon, food was good... nothing exceptional. 12 for a small pre-made sandwich next door. If you are hungry enough to eat two sandwiches... it's worth it because everything is overpriced at a hotel.Service: above average, super attentive and very friendly ;)

Horrible expensive breakfast! Food was nasty, pastries tasted like frozen premade dry cardboard. Fruit was not ripe. Spent $85 for 3 people to have breakfast. For a high end hotel i am far from impressed. It doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Good food. Great atmosphere!!

I was a leader of an agency with a group of adults with Developmental disabilities, whom had buffet breakfast daily. The hostess,servers an cooks were so helpful an pleasant an were so cheerful to us. The foid selections were great.

There's nice service, but the food isn't anything special. It's also not what I would consider Italian.

Good service but the food was horrible. I would have rather went to Mcdonalds. The price is crazy.

I was attending a national conference at the Gaylord. So I was appreciative of the work they had to do to accommodate the large numbers. Anyway. The breakfast is a pretty awesome buffet complete with individual omelette bar and salmon locks. Take your time, eat slowly and catch avteath before a great day in Washington dc. The food was good, but waiting for 40 minutes for breakfast was not so good. There were many open tables,but it appeared as if they didn't have enough staff to help bus & clean the tables.

Horribly expensive breakfast. Merely okay food. Taking advantage of it's location in the hotel to get sufficient business to survive.

Buffet restaurant at Gaylord resort. Selections were limited and of very poor quality. Expensive for what they offer. Service was decent and friendly. There was a pasta station but the pasta was overcooked and soggy with too much sauce.

My concern wasn't the food but the overall cleanliness. The table wasn't clean. Food on the floor under the table. The bowl i out my fruit in had dried up egg yoke on the outside. The manager discounted the bill by 20% but should have comp the entire bill.

My family and friends dined here after my wedding in December 2016. The food was great and the selections were on point, exactly what we needed. The cost was a lot cheaper than booking a small dining room at other locations and the atmosphere at Christmas was perfect.

Very disappointed with the poor customer service. Arrived at 12:10 told that they close that 12 but the website says 2:30 ask to speak to the manager multiple times no one ever came out to help or even address our questions and concerns. While waiting on a manager to come out multiple other families were turned away who had the same experience. One lady even had a party of twelve coming to meet her there and she was scrambling to call them to say that they're going to have to find another location here at the harbor to go and eat. We ended up at Succotash restaurant about a block away from the hotel who provided a thousand percent better customer service.

Had the breakfast buffet. Omelet station, fruit, cereal, waffles, French toast. All was good and plentiful. Staff was very friendly and attentive the entire meal.

Went there for Easter brunch. The food was mediocre and overpriced at $65 per person. Mimosa's were $12 each and the OJ was not even fresh squeezed. Will not be returning.

Pretty lame food selection for a $20 lunch buffet. It used to be an epic smorgasbord of deliciousness, what that heck happened here? We left immediately.

Would surely recommend trying this place. Awesome atmosphere, fresh dishes, good customer service. Fantastic work.

Had breakfast there today, Sunday. Omelette station was great, other food was ok but choices were very limited for the price which was the same as brunch. At the end of breakfast, they laid out some lunch items which came too late to be enjoyed. Not enough value for the breakfast price.

Food is Always delicious and hot,enough selections to get full,& good customer service.

This was our favorite Brunch destination from the day they opened. Every holiday, special occasion, visitor, or guest to impress brought us here. Food, service, live music, beautiful atmosphere! All superbly done! There was always a wait to get in. ENTER MARRIOTT MANAGEMENT!! Food selections were dumbed down, service was cut --eventually the brunch was discontinued. This 'breakfast bar' is convenient for hotel guests but diners from the community will have to look elsewhere for a special experience. What a loss!

Variety..tasty..reasonably priced

I love the variety available in the breakfast buffet but it doesn't change every day.

Great breakfast foods! I suggest the wrap. Excellent and I am not a breakfast fan.

Disappointed for the price and when I asked about any more fresh fruit they rudely said closed threw it out. Our waiter was on the ball and snagged us some. Dairy (cream cheese, butter) not kept cold - health hazard!

Food was great but a little pricey

We as a family have come to the Gaylord five times total. The Pienza breakfast buffet is expensive and there isn’t matching quality for price. I understand they have a tremendous amount of food to prepare, but except for the omelette station nothing hot is fresh. The continental option includes sugary pastries, yogurt, bread, oatmeal and a fruit bar - which includes hard boiled eggs as protein. There are also cereal options.The harbor option for $6 more includes waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, bacon, sausage, & scrambled eggs - all well before pre-made and kept warm. The taste is fine but at the price point I would expect a few more fresh prepared options.

Mothers Day brunch was a complete disappointment. I have attended several times in the past with my party of six and looked forward to the "special" items. This year, there were no scallops, no oysters, and no shrimp and grits on the menu. Basically, for $62 a person, we had an overpriced Bob Evans meal with cute little desserts. Pienza, you lost me and I've told everyone who asked about my big brunch to take their families and wallets someplace else. Very disappointed former patron.

What a great spot. Dined here during our stay for the Christmas season. Great choices and family friendly!

Poor quality breakfast, lady at waffle station was extremely rude!I haven't seen any server like her anywhere!

Azieb was an excellent waitress. She was our reason to return each morning during our stay. Very pleasant.
